We are a family-orientated podcast filling the airways with queer Filipino vibes. Hang out with the cuzzes: Alaina, Angelika, D, and Sarah as we talk about our experiences, identities and favorite item from the Jollibee menu. We hope you feel welcome to our family!
Hey y’all! I’m Alaina and I am a pansexual woman from Austin! My mom immigrated to Chicago but I am a born and raised Texan. I am currently in school for Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas with a focus on sustainability and the environment (I am obsessed with the idea of a sustainable city). When I am not studying, you can find me gardening, face-timing my mom, annoying my neighbors with my shower karaoke, and probably taking a nap.
Hi there! I’m Angelika, and I’m a simple queer from California! Both my parents immigrated from the Philippines to California. I’m currently working as a vet tech and am planning to attend vet school. In my free time I like crocheting, watching cartoons/anime, and baking. I have a dog, cat, and frog, but am always looking to expand my army of pets!
Hey I’m Sarah! I’m an asexual and heteroromantic woman who lives in the south west of the UK. I immigrated to the UK when I was 5 with my mum who was originally from the Philippines and my dad who was from Australia. I work as a science communicator, mainly working with schools and have an interest in equity in STEM and education. I love wearing dungarees, collecting enamel pins and doing cross stitch.
Hello all! My name is D! I also go by Off White Magician and Deanna Grimmalkin. I’m a non-binary and bi femme who loves to wear loud or magical fashion. My mom immigrated here from the Philippines and my dad was born and raised in Michigan. I am an overworked Millennial who hopes that one day we’re able conquer the dark hold that capitalism has on America. Most of the time I’m at home, I am writing, sewing or playing D&D. But I always try to make room to read books and eat desserts!
